As a children’s writer, Anita’s screen credits include Nina and the Neurons for CBeebies, OOglies for CBBC, and Olive the Ostrich for Nick. Jr. She has written extensively for the Engross Theatre Group, who produce plays for children with special needs, and her plays regularly tour special needs schools. Working with young people at Children 1st, she wrote and directed a radio drama about life as a Young Carer which was broadcast on Black Diamond radio.

Anita also writes for adults. Her drama On the Skids was broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland. Her debut theatre play Pendulum performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and plays Self Help and Respect performed at the GRV theatre in Edinburgh. Her short films have been screened at numerous short film festivals. Her poetry has been shortlisted for the Pier Pressure Poetry competition, and won the BMI poetry prize.
